Duchess lab report is back: not cancerous!! It was tissue that had sloughed away and it was FULL of bacteria. About 4 days after finishing this course of antibiotics, we should do a urinalysis to make sure the infection is gone.

Phew. :-)

What a huge relief. I find it strange that I don't know you all that well and I don't know your cat but I was rather worried for you and your cat. :o)

It is great to know that Duchess is going to be okay!

Thursday, July 6th, 2006 07:38 pm (UTC)
Isn't that funny? I, too, get concerned about the cats of virtual strangers on the Internet. I have a major soft spot for cats.
Thursday, July 6th, 2006 06:18 pm (UTC)
Hooray Duchess!

*hug* to you both.
Thursday, July 6th, 2006 07:39 pm (UTC)

Thursday, July 6th, 2006 11:22 pm (UTC)
YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!

Time to get kitty drinking cranberry juice!

Give her lots and lots of ear skritchies! Did they suggest low ash kitty food? Mine wouldn't eat it, but she doesn't mind Iams kidney care stuff.
Friday, July 7th, 2006 02:10 am (UTC)
I'm so relieved!

They haven't suggested any dietary modifications yet. (I suspect they have decided I am a bad kittymom and have very dirty litterboxes.) I'll see what they tell me about diet at the follow-up...
Friday, July 7th, 2006 02:05 am (UTC)

Friday, July 7th, 2006 01:13 pm (UTC)
So happy to hear that she'll feel better soon. And that she'll probably make a full recovery. Give her a little extra love from her "aunt" rm.

Definitely! Extra scritches from you, coming right up! :-)
