I'm doing NaNo again this year. I'll limit my posting about my trials and tribulations to a specific filter, as I suspect many non-NaNo-ers wish *everyone* on LJ would do ;-).

I signed up for Nano. In order to do Nano, I have to write my 8 pages a day, AND translate 7 pages of mathematical French (into English, of course), every day. Assuming I finish my Cantor paper by Oct. 31. I dunnoo... God, it was so fun last year. But this dissertation takes priority..
Here I am, me me me, all about me.... Good luck to you in Nano 2005, Ceej!

I hear ya! I have two big square dance weekends in November every year, one of which is four days out of my writing schedule, and I have this (more than) full-time job, too. I know exactly what you mean. BUSY!
But hey, other people can do a helluva lot when they get their priorities figured out -- so you and I can too. Right? [channeling Yenta] Of COURSE right! :-)
Good luck to you too!

I'm going to try anyway. Fiction in English might be the perfect balance to mathematical French, you know?
