I feel a bit thick for not noticing the lack of point earlier.
I feel old because... well... I've been where she is. "No one should complain, and everyone should always understand what I meant rather than what I said." What brought me from there to here? Whatever it is, I probably can't put it into words. (And I knew that, which brings me back to feeling a bit slow for even trying.)
If today were Monday, all this would fit in perfectly. :-)

Can't say for sure, but it probably has something to do with emotional maturity :).
Along those lines I decided not to reply to her arrogant posts because I wanted to say, "Who died and made you fucking Queen of the Universe?"
*grin* I didn't think she was all that bad, underneath -- just needs to look at the enormous trunk full of assumptions (mostly mistaken ones) she's carrying around, and lighten the load a bit. In my not even remotely humble opinion. :-)
I read through the entire thread, and came to the conclusion that ninneviane is simply an asshole, one of a particularly obnoxious variety who equates verbage with wisdom. I could hardly read her comments, my bullshit detector was going off so loudly!
I gave it the good ol' college try. I wonder what she'd say if she re-read the thread in ten years or so. The best by far was long before I showed up: the complete evaluation of Mary's psyche from a statement that she prefers no spoilers. Yow!
