I'm home by myself this evening. Rob's traveling, house guests (my parents) are an hour's drive away hanging out with my sister and her family, invited another person to dinner because he's in the area but he said no he's tired, so it's just me.
Should I Door Dash something? I look in fridge. Hmm, not much there. I do have the makings for palak paneer.
For the first time in probably my whole life, I am choosing to make something* NOT because I'm required to and NOT because the act of making it is a social activity but because I would like to eat it.
I may still wimp out. But I'm defrosting the paneer. :)
(* not counting baking. Baking is fun and often creates yummy things.)
