Well. THAT was a difficult phone call to make. But I'm (as I knew I would be) immensely glad I called.

Thank you all, by the way, for all your support. I know that because I screened comments, it may look like almost nobody said a thing. That's so not true. The outpouring of kind words and of compassionate suggestions has been tremendous, and I really appreciate it.

Me neither. I'm awful that way. I think I managed to avoid being an insulting snot over the phone, which would maybe kinda be like me except it's really not the right time for it. [wry smile]
