Sick

I hope that this is the last feeble blow in a long string of crappy stuff this season. I hope. My throat hurts like I've been trying to eat caltrops and it's swollen up so that it's hard to swallow. The sniffles, cough, etc will probably arrive over the next couple of days.

I don't usually get every little thing that goes around. In fact, usually I'll go years (literally) without getting sick at all. Then I'll get knocked down for a month or more.

My employer will be sooooo pleased.

Sadly, I'm still a mess. When I get sick I don't do it small :-(

A thing that's sharp and spiky & has a point sticking up no matter which way it lands when you drop it.
