I hope that this is the last feeble blow in a long string of crappy stuff this season. I hope. My throat hurts like I've been trying to eat caltrops and it's swollen up so that it's hard to swallow. The sniffles, cough, etc will probably arrive over the next couple of days.
I don't usually get every little thing that goes around. In fact, usually I'll go years (literally) without getting sick at all. Then I'll get knocked down for a month or more.
My employer will be sooooo pleased.

Hope you feel better and that the advice to "drink lots of fluids" doesn't send you mad. It always drive me up the wall when the nth person says to drink fluids... what else would I do, drink solids?

But what's a Caltrop?

A thing that's sharp and spiky & has a point sticking up no matter which way it lands when you drop it.
