Tonight I just grabbed Duchess and shoved the pill and a half down her throat (separately). The whole operation took less than a minute.
I've been a fool.
Oh well! She's happily eating her wet food now. That stuff is a big time treat when it doesn't taste like pills!
Of course, no sooner is Duchess (hopefully) on the mend than Rob is sick. He is easier to take care of though.

Ohhh, it was so icky coming home to my apt with NO KITTY THERE!!! Bummed me out big time. Kept thinking maybe I saw a movement at the edge of my vision, but it was NO KITTY!!! Writhing with guilt indeed!
So this morning I got to take her home. When I went to spring her from prison, I could her her complaining voice before I saw her. I hope she was just complaining from being put in her carrier and picked up in it, but whatever it was, she was Not Happy. She complained most of the way home, though mellowing a little. After she got home, she seemed fine, spending extra time using her tipped-over cat tree as a scratching post. I stayed home a little longer (was intentionally a bit late to work) and watched her eat a bit, petted her, and just hung out with her some. For both our sakes! It'll be so nice to see her after work tonight, and get to hang out with her properly. Phewwwwww!

Isn't it awful to see your place without feline occupancy? If you're used to a cat being there, it's almost funereal to see the place without her.
