Hey CJ, you usually seem to be relaxed about asking for help -- anyway, my thought was to wonder what you are looking for and whether you want leads thrown at you. I presume "yes" and don't know if I have appropriate ones to throw or not. I assume many other readers would ditto this. Anyway, if appropriate to toss leads over, please do outline, at least in general terms, what you're looking for. Type of work, location, whatever is most clear.
Oh, good point! That seriously didn't occur to me, to ask here on LJ. I will think about what I'm aiming for and write up a post. Thanks for the suggestion!
Yeah - on the other side, I've actually gotten useful responses to a couple of my "we're hiring" posts here too, from people I didn't realize read my journal :-)
(and congratulations - even if it's the "obviously sane" choice to start on the Next Thing, it still takes bravery to actually *do it* :-)
