Not yet, although one recruiter says he can get me interviews in at least two places. (Apparently he knows I'm at least a close enough fit that they'll interview, or he knows they're desperate.) I just finally couldn't stand it any more, being here and putting on the Pretending Face. I do not pretend well.

Congratulations! I'd always much rather do something, even if it's not the best thing, than sit idle and fret. In your case, this looks like the best thing - I'll keep my fingers crossed for a quick job hunt.
