Not yet, although one recruiter says he can get me interviews in at least two places. (Apparently he knows I'm at least a close enough fit that they'll interview, or he knows they're desperate.) I just finally couldn't stand it any more, being here and putting on the Pretending Face. I do not pretend well.

I totally understand. I'm so glad my management isn't local, because I only have to put on my Pretending Voice occasionally.

Thanks! Gah, I don't even know why you'd TRY to pretend. Your teammates know the score, right, and they like and support you, right? So you don't have to pretend there. And your management is not only Evil Incarnate but they know they're being shitty to you, I would think. Gah. I can't imagine. That must be so awful. I seriously wish you the smoothest job search in the world!

Other than my team lead, my cow-orkers have no idea what's going on. And I still think it's funny now that I've pinned HR chick to the wall I'm not getting any response from her to my questions.
