Home safely, around 10 (10:30 at the house) last night. Exhausted. Eleven hours of flying - I can only imagine how tired Rob was. Thank goodness for autopilots.

Am at work now, after doing a bunch of laundry and cleaning up what the cat did. Am now ravenous. I guess maybe I did shift a little toward Central time.

Yes indeed. When we guesstimated jet travel door-to-door times from Galveston we included a generous figure for security. I get picked for the carry-on search very frequently, and there's always an extra delay because these shoes don't come off. Hey! Another advantage to small planes: a LOT less walking! (Getting through an airport means at least a day, sometimes two or three, of pain afterward.)

Thanks! The water wasn't too bad when we were there. I hear it's often got schtuff in it.
