My Most Fervent Wishes

1. For the pain of my sore throat to diminish to the point that Chloraseptic will mask it.
2. For the coughing to slow down enough that a cough suppressant will let me sleep.
3. For the fever to break. (Better today: 99.4.)

Apparently when I am sick I am very selfish.

I think I've developed a tolerance for Robitussin. It doesn't do much for me, noticeably, anyway, as an expectorant, but it's a good soother. I'm not big on the taste, mind, but I can handle it better than Chloroseptic.

Guaifenesin doesn't do much for me except in somewhat larger doses, so Robitussin DM and CF (which have other ingredients limiting the dosage) don't have much of an expectorant effect. For that I'll just take the plain guaifenesin. But gawd, the taste. That is unspeakably awful.
