Home from surgery

I'm home and feeling remarkably chipper. No pain at the moment -- local hasn't worn off. Muscles still a tiny bit shaky from IV sedation.

They took a photo of each foot open, and a photo of each lump of ick that was removed. I looked at them on the camera. I think they're probably *not* appropriate for user icons. :-)

I'm lying on the couch with my feet propped up, surrounded by everything I could possibly want: snacks, water, phone, painkillers, ice packs, books, laptop, and a small handful of cats. Life is good.

Thanks! Yes, I feel like I've waited forever for this. There's also the usual gladness that a possibly-unpleasant medical procedure is over and done with. :-)
