Well, it feels like I finally got what Rob has had for the last three-four weeks. My throat is sore and swollen.

Great friggin' timing. If this is so I'm going to be coughing up phlegm all night during the entire trip to Japan. (I never get an easier case of a thing than Rob gets. Often I skip it entirely, but if I get it it's bad.) I'll cross my fingers that we stay in places with heat.

I devoutly hope I'm wrong about this. I hope I'm not really actually sick.

It's surprising it waited this long. Usually, when one of us is sick we sleep apart, but we haven't been doing that this time. He's been coughing on me for weeks. Why would my body finally lose the battle *now*?

Because he's been coughing on you for three weeks?

I hope you're not sick, too. When do you leave for Japan?

I got sick on my and Dan's Paris/London trip. Before we left London, he was sick, too. We went through an entire big box of tissues during the flights (we bought the box at Gatwick, it was empty when we landed at Indy).

I leave on Saturday. Ugh, glad you got that box of tissues -- long plane flights with not enough tissues are AWFUL!
