My telomeres are shrinking

Years ago, when I'd get scrapes and scratches they'd heal beautifully, leaving no sign that there was ever an injury.

Now I scar like crazy, collecting little white or pink lines for even small scratches.

I think I'm getting older.

I'm not hugely klutzy by nature, I suspect, it's just that I've never before really cared whether I got scrapes or bruises. So I wasn't particularly cautious. I may still decide not to care... not sure yet. After all, anyone who would find me less attractive because of (tomboyishness / how old I am) is hopefully not someone I will ever have the bad taste to want to impress. :-)

Also, I still have a cat. And I will still be stupid enough to test reaction times with him during play. And I will always lose. I need gloves.

I too have a cat. I think I know EXACTLY what you mean. :-)
