Inspired by [livejournal.com profile] redgrrl, I'm doing another round of letters!

********************

Dear Dianna,

I wish I knew how to help. Maybe I can just listen, while you ramble?

Caringly,
Your Friend

********************

Dear Resume,

Format yourself. My attempts make it look like I swallowed a font and threw up on the page.

Disgustedly,
That Computer Programmer

********************

Dear Grandma,

I wish I could take the pain away.

Helplessly,
Your Granddaughter

********************

Dear Mom,

I priced some tickets. It'll sting, but only a little. If you want me there, you have but to say the word. I can't imagine what you are going through right now.

Achingly,
Your Daughter

********************

Dear Food I Left Simmering On The Stove,

Not now. I'm busy.

With annoyance,
The Chef

********************

Dear [livejournal.com profile] jackiecat,

Thanks for not being too ticked off yesterday when I came home smelling of other cats. You are a balm for my soul.

Blinking my contentment,
Your Human

********************

Dear Company I Used To Work For,

Neener neener.

Childishly,
Your Ex-Employee

********************

Dear Stock Market,

Are we there yet?

Whiningly,
A Six-Year-Old Inner Child

CJ, if it's design and layout your resume needs, please let me take a shot at it for you. That's what I do. I haven't done a resume in a while and I would enjoy it. Maybe someday I'll need someone to do some math for me and I'll ask you. ;)

I'm sorry your grandma is sick.

What a marvelously expressive way to write! I love it!

I'm sorry about your grandmother. My heart goes out to you, and especially to your mom. I've been where she is, and it's hard -- I'm so glad she has a caring daughter she can turn to for support. (My daughter (http://journal.amanita.net) was only nine when her grandma got sick).

Ooo cool! Somebody who KNOWS this frustrating thing called MSWord? My goodness! 8-)

My grandma probably won't last the week. I'll fly back soon, just not sure exactly when yet. Would like to see her alive, but would not like to spend two weeks there, because, well, I have to be in San Jose at the end of next week to catch my Flight From Hell for the holidays. :-/

Thanks. It would be a mercy if she would go soon. She's in agony.

I got the idea from [livejournal.com profile] lkeele, who got the idea from something she calls Squishettes. I love it too! :-)

My heart goes out to my mom too. It must be awful.
