Enjoying the fact there are only eight work days until I’m out. Enjoying having some hope for what my future might hold.
Enjoying, though not without some sorrow, being able to give support to friends who are in tough situations. Getting to know them better as I see how they are shaped by the difficulties. Respecting them more as I see how they each do their level best to treat everyone else as well as they can.
Enjoying home cooked food. I suck at this but have had help recently, and I have maybe fifty meals in the freezer, all of them delightful.
Enjoying learning how to navigate Goodreads and learning about lots of nifty books and authors that are new to me.
Enjoying lots of walks here in the mild weather of southern Arizona, while watching the dreadful cold weather back home. Also enjoying the temporary disconnection from my usual routine, even though I'll be happy to get back to it at the end of March.
I love the way that a change can feel so lovely and yet getting back to home and the familiar can also feel so comforting! Glad you’re enjoying Arizona! How much longer are you there?
Enjoying the few days left with my cat, who is more affectionate now that she is so ill. Apparently this is common. At the same time, enjoying doing a little more reading, as that's a compatible activity.
Enjoying the unseasonable weather, which is allowing for more bike riding. Hope to get a kayak ride in Sunday, when it will not be windy. Not really enjoying the fact that I'm not getting to skate or x-country ski, though...
I am enjoying watching Danny spend so many thoughtful and loving hours in all the rehab-y stuff he's done with our 25 year old recently purchased RV. I wouldn't have thought about 20% of the things he's done, or doing, or having us both do. And we actually took our first trip in it last week in a break between the Palm Springs winter storms!
