I don't read the comments to big-name-website articles unless I'm intentionally after watching right-wingers melt down on more mainstream sites (which I'll admit, sometimes is exactly what I'm after).

But I read the article you linked to before and didn't see a sexist attitude, it seems to fete her if anything, to treat her contribution to the arts with respect.

I didn’t see any comments. The article does indeed treat her with respect; it merely also mentions people along the way who dismissed the idea she could have been working on manuscripts. That’s the bit I was reacting to.
