Japanese toothpaste is nicely minty and UNSWEETENED. I may buy a whole bunch more of it.

(At least the one I got. No idea about generalities! Also no flip cap on it. The cap pulls off instead of rotating, too.)

Maybe I could trouble you to pick me up a tube, then? I've been looking for a tasty unsweetened option after I am free of my current high-fluoride toothpaste....

Sure! It's expensive. I'll check the price again when I next go out. (Another tasty unsweetened option, at least to me, is Tom's of Maine. No fluoride in that one at all.)

ed: Also, best I can tell, no fluoride in the Japanese one I have in my hand. Boy am I bad at pattern-matching in a big pile of text! :)

Hmm, no fluoride is a bit of a problem for me... I seem to have some structural weakness in my dental enamel. But I'll try some anyways if you can find a small tube!

Ah, ok. A little more research tells me fluoride is rare here; there are a couple of toothpaste brands (mostly for kids, I think) that have fluoride. I'll probably never be able to find those. I'll pick up a tube of what I've got.

Found some in mint flavor with fluoride! Picked up a tube for you and a tube for me. :)

By the way, I've got that toothpaste -- want me to drop it in the mail, or what?

That would work, or we can arrange something for the next time I'm down in your neck of the woods? (And, apropos of nothing & assuming you're legal, can I fast-talk you into playing safety pilot for some practice approaches...?)

Either way works for me. How often are you in my neck of the woods? (Warning, if you're thinking "lunch" then the only possible day of the week is Sunday. My class schedule is brutal that way.)

Sadly I'm no longer legal to act as safety pilot. I drifted out of both currency and medical a year ago, not long after I started seriously getting frugal in preparation for this career change thing. I hope that some day I'll be financially able to get back into flying!

I shipped a large quantity of Neem toothpaste back from India because I love it and can't get it consistently here. Sometimes it's about the little things in life.

It is indeed! :)

Unsweetened... little cap that pulls off...

You're sure you're not brushing with Icy Hot? :)

Very tasty good fortune toothpaste! Brings you most healthy morning energy!
