Lab report = far more work than expected. Had to send apology e-mail to lab partners; won't have a draft by tonight as I said I would.

Not that anybody has responded to mail all day. Professors, lab partners, friends, family -- I might as well be yelling into the void. Couldn't even reach my sister on the phone to wish her happy birthday.

Chem homework = far more work than expected. Instead of being done long ago, I'm maybe two thirds of the way through.

Rob is out flying this evening, so except for an IM earlier today, I'm not at all certain that some terrible disaster hasn't happened, leaving me the only remaining human on the planet.

Litterbox area = far more work than expected. I've cleaned about half, and it took way too long to get even that far.

And now Duchess is throwing up on the carpet.

*hugs*

I get days like that too. Particularly lately when dealing with the various government-run career centers in my area. Wow, I thought bureaucrats and stupid forms could be very annoying already, before these places drove me over the edge! I have no patience with people who say "we need that info because, as you can see, we have a space on the form for it!". That sticks in my head and can foster a tumult of frustration and cascading lack of patience.

And running into a series of "far more work than I expected" is totally a drag -- I'm there with you on that!! Too many of those in a row just doesn't feel fair! :O

One sure way to make anything ten times more annoying is to let a bunch of bureaucrats get hold of it. My sympathies.

And thanks for the comment, no matter its content -- it's good to "hear" another voice out there, right about now! Gah, maybe I should just tuck myself into bed and cut my losses, eh? :-) Tomorrow has to be better than this, even if I do spend it all on my feet.

Yeah, you did sound like you needed to hear a friendly voice, so I made sure to reply. :)

I'd say some sort of 'time out' to take a break from the ick and reset would sound like a good idea. That works for me too, though sometimes I need longer breaks than others. ;)

Thanks. Yeah, reset sounds awfully good.
