Schedule: Physics department is aware of the schedule problem and is "looking into it". I am not holding my breath. Another student in this fix has checked out Foothill, where the analogous classes ALSO conflict. I asked the bio department whether I could take C before B. They said maaaaaybe, if your prof signs a statement saying you are God. That might have offered a slim ray of hope if bio 6C were offered next quarter at all.
Insulin: Do you know how fun it is to give a cat one-half unit of insulin twice a day? This is U-100 insulin, too. If I were a mouse my sneezes might be that size.
Blood sugar: I ate bread and gave myself the worst hypoglycemic crash I've had in... well, at least since I started this Lyme treatment thing. I do not like that, Sam I Am. I am more convinced than ever that a low-glycemic diet, though not necessarily as dramatic as what I've been doing thus far, is a much healthier way for me to eat than the way I see most people eat.
Editing: I have discovered enough minor goofs in the bio lab manual that I now have the job of editing it. Apparently I cannot be paid for this, but I can get some kind of "special projects" credit or something. I must be insane: I actually consider this to be fun.
Dissection: Started dissections in bio lab. I am now the proud owner of an eye lens and a squid beak. I totally know who's going to get the squid beak. Heh heh heh. I am also about to order decent dissecting tools. Those scalpels went past laughable and right into the category of major obstacles to progress.
Tests and quizzes: Physics "midterm" 2 is tomorrow. There's a bio lab quiz Thursday. Chem "midterm" 3 is right after Thanksgiving.
Being a flake: I am getting mightily tired of being a space case. Got two questions wrong on the bio exam, one of which was because I apparently didn't read the question except perhaps by pressing the paper to my forehead. Aaaaaand I have to cancel a credit card because it went missing over the weekend. I am counting the months before I give up on this Lyme concept and get some decent sleep. Six and a half AT MOST, it'll be, and less if my grades start to slip.
