I think about a third of the people in my physics lecture are sick. We're packed in there like sardines, and throughout the class I hear continuous sniffle-cough-snort-honk.

Counterintuitive though it may seem, I bet my best short-term strategy would be to ditch the massive antibiotics so I could sleep. I wonder what my doctor would say if I told her I wanted to stop Lyme treatment in order to stay healthy!

I'm glad the class is turning out to be so easy for you! Given that, I really might, were I you, look into requesting an exemption from the attendance requirement, at least until fewer students are attending class with infectious illnesses...but if you're due anyway, maybe it's not worth fighting it.

The sleep issues sound really unpleasant to deal with. Any chance of improvement as you adapt further to the medication?
