I think about a third of the people in my physics lecture are sick. We're packed in there like sardines, and throughout the class I hear continuous sniffle-cough-snort-honk.

Counterintuitive though it may seem, I bet my best short-term strategy would be to ditch the massive antibiotics so I could sleep. I wonder what my doctor would say if I told her I wanted to stop Lyme treatment in order to stay healthy!

I feel quite sure your doctor would tell you that ditching the antibiotics before you've undergone the complete course is not what you should do. That's how massively-resistant bacteria come into being...

Well, these aren't ever going to be gone. Lyme is automatically massively resistant.
