I did it. I shut down the computers, turned in my badge, and drove on outta there. I'm now in Los Angeles calling a square dance.

It hasn't sunk in yet. Last night I was so stressed about all the last-minute stuff that I slept about three and a quarter hours. (This was handy. I got a lot done.) But you can imagine how keyed up I've been all day. My shoulders haven't unknotted yet.

I suspect that tonight -- I suspect that somewhere between the time I fall asleep and the time I realize there's absolutely no need to get up on time, it will sink in then. :-)

Most of them do, yes. Everyone's asking two questions: "How are your feet?" and "I heard you're... going back to school?" :-)

I usually don't check, but when the machine had the wireless enabled and went looking, it told me "Connected to linksys". Hooray for all the people who leave their wireless routers open!

Congratulations! By the way, how are your feet? I seem to remember a recent post where you wrote about your busy day which included standing on your tip toes, and it not being completely impossible?

Thanks! There were a few days when they seemed noticeably improved, then things were back to "normal" (my normal). My doctor says this is hopeful. I say this is basically useless. We'll see who wins. :-)
