Weaning myself off sleep meds is not a walk in the park. The way I feel, I think I got maybe four hours last night.

I'm pounding my head with frustration over my efforts to debug something at work. I'm getting nowhere on it, and time is rapidly running out.

I'm angry on behalf of a coworker of mine. She really deserves better. That's all the detail I feel I can put here, but man, she really does deserve better.

This afternoon is full of sharp stabby "cramps". Something inside my abdomen is trying to chew its way out.

About fifteen minutes ago I got hit with a massive wave of YOU MIGHT THROW UP REALLY SOON. Nothing I have eaten today is unusual in any way, so I don't know where that's coming from. It's slowly fading to a disorienting level of dizziness. I hope it fades more so I can get home.

The best thing I can say for today is that I don't have to show up at the courthouse for jury duty at 8:30 tomorrow morning!

Crampy pains, nausea, and dizziness say "Ulcer" to me. It could be any number of places. But, generally, my ears perk up and I think "blood may be going somewhere it shouldn't be."

If I were nearby, I'd be pulling out my BP cuff... :(

Yikes. That does sound like a crappy day. May you feel better soon, and sleep better tonight, and may things at work look up soon. And meanwhile, may the need for jurors in Santa Clara County be astoundingly low for at least the rest of this week. :-)

Could be subconscious big life change stress...like on the surface, you've got all the ducks in a very good row, but underneath, there's some monster in the loch.

These "cramps" are very familiar; I'm on my period. (I don't have normal menstrual cramps exactly. I have some kind of pinched nerve thing that flares up with any teeny amount of systemic inflammation, and periods will do that.) The other stuff I have *no* explanation for.

Would BP be low in such a case? I'll pull out the BP cuff when I get home. I have one there.

Thank you! :-) From your mouth to God's ears, as they say.

Yeah, I wouldn't be surprised at all if that's part of it. Of course, tension and stress make my "cramps" worse every time. (And dangit, I can't take painkillers when I'm queasy!)

It might be, and that would support the notion that you're bleeding enough for your body to not like it.

It's usually a little high, so if it's even a bit low, that'd be unusual. I'll give it a look.

Are you on blood pressure medicine? That can make your blood pressure go to low at times like it's happened to me.

I *hate* menstrual cramps! Endometriosis turns me into a bitch every month.

No blood pressure meds in my case.

If you've got endo you have my profoundest sympathies. Gah. Pain SUCKS.
