I have officially resigned (effective September 5).

It's not often you get to write a resignation letter for an entire career.

Terrified at the beginning is normal, IMHO. I'm still somewhat scared. What if I can't...? What if they don't...? etc. Just keep plugging along. I try not to let all those What Ifs eat my brain.
