*nod*. I suspect anyone who has spent years battling something without knowing what it is would grok why I was actually a little bit excited to read the report. Unhappy too, sure, but... yeah.

I agree; having information to be able to start to narrow your choices and responses makes a HUGE difference in being able to deal with that situation. Yes, it is a shock to hear "We have a problem, you have a brain tumor" BUT I finally had answers. My hope for you is that this answer helps you get an effective course of treatment. Good luck!

Exactly! And you got an effective course of treatment, too, which amazes me to this day. Sometimes, good things do happen, even highly-unlikely-seeming good things.

Thanks. There's a good chance this ISN'T the answer, of course, and whether or not it is, Lyme is awfully darn hard to get rid of. But it's a better clue than I've had for a few years now.

*nods furiously in agreement* being able to put your finger on a probable cause is such a HUGE relief. yes, it sucks to have any sort of diagnosis, but it's light years better than the great big unknown.
