Really, yesterday had improved quite a bit by lunch, but it still wasn't destined to be a good one. It had good spots, though, like... well, lunch! :-) I also got some real help from the technical support guys, completely unexpectedly, and I was surprised at the depth of my relief. I felt exhausted after that. I hadn't known how tightly I was wound until it stopped. Even the fact that fixing one problem just uncovered several more didn't stop me from feeling like an overcooked noodle all afternoon.

My crock pot soup wasn't ready for dinner, probably because I'd started with frozen ingredients. We had to sneak out of the house an alternate way because a cat was busy throwing up in a spot that made it inadvisable to open the door. Square dance calling went about as well as could be expected given that I was so exhausted. We're working Triple Lines/Waves a bit now that it's been added to C1.

Today, now... today has potential. The floor has been cleaned; the crock pot soup is in the fridge and in the freezer; I've had breakfast; the problems I get to attack at work are things I have NOT spent days fighting with; and to top it all off, it's Friday and I have the evening off. Things are looking up.

You rock!! Where was it on the carpet? I never did see that part.

The cats had, as expected, re-eaten a lot of the stuff by the door.

Under my little table in the living room.

I guess there are advantages to having hungry cats. Maybe we could rent them out as waste disposal devices.

I suppose if you've got to have pukey cats, it's handy when they're hungry. Ten second rule!

The first time I saw one of my cats do that I was sooooo grossed out.

Now, I walk away when they puke and if it's still there a couple hours later I clean it up then. Often it isnt and I can pretend it never happened.

But still....ewwwww!

It's impressively awful, isn't it? I always have to clean up where it was, because there's always a bit, but I admit it's easier once the cat has done most of the work. I still don't want to think about it too much though.
