Big mistake.

Oh man. Did I ever goof. What a mistake.

I visited the Blowfish Tax Day Sale page (link is not work-safe) and now I can't concentrate on anything I'm actually supposed to be doing.

I knew better, I really did...

You know, I've met Jack Morin, author of "Anal Pleasure and Health: A Guide for Men and Women". He said he liked my buns.m

[identity profile] cjsmith.livejournal.com 2002-04-18 01:56 pm (UTC)(link)
Um. From him, that'd be a comment guaranteed to interrupt one's thought processes!

Soooooo... didja? ;-) You do not, of course, have to answer that. :-)

He's tasted my buns...

[identity profile] gs.livejournal.com 2002-04-18 02:05 pm (UTC)(link)
Did I what?

He was speaking at a SFSI Continuing Education potluck event, and I had made cinnamon rolls. He tried one and said "these sticky buns taste great".

What did you think I...Oh! Really CJ! I'm surprised at you!

Ooo, you let him taste! Mmmmmm! :-) :-)

I'm surprised at you!

No you're not. 8-)

[identity profile] cjsmith.livejournal.com 2002-04-18 01:57 pm (UTC)(link)
Not yet, but I'm in serious danger of using up some of my remaining credit limit. Serious danger.

[identity profile] joedecker.livejournal.com 2002-04-18 02:00 pm (UTC)(link)
There's a lotta good stuff there.... :)

[identity profile] cjsmith.livejournal.com 2002-04-18 02:03 pm (UTC)(link)
Don't I know it. I know some of it is good because I own it. :-) [heh. Wondering when this becomes TMI for a public journal entry.] I bet the rest isn't horrible either. Mmmm, where's that little plastic card with the numbers on it...

I refuse even to click that link because I'm saving my pennies for a horse.

(On top of all my fun with Palisades, I've just been offered a gorgeous bay mare. *whine*. Why can't I live on a hundred acres with hot & cold running staff, I ask ya?)

[identity profile] klwalton.livejournal.com 2002-04-18 01:41 pm (UTC)(link)
I deleted the email announcement from my inbox, and you had to go and publish the link! I blame you, CJ!! muttermuttermutterspentmoneymuttermuttermutter

[identity profile] cjsmith.livejournal.com 2002-04-18 02:01 pm (UTC)(link)
Heh. I deleted the first e-mail announcement from my inbox. I forwarded the link from the second, identical announcement to a few select friends. (I'm on their mailing list twice; been unable to fix that.) The third one arrived today and was too much temptation to resist, so I followed the link... and posted it in LJ. The fourth one I deleted.

It's not my fault. Blame Blowfish. They keep sending me mail, and of course it's not my fault if I click on the link, now is it? :-)

Now *don't* be using logic when I'm trying to duck responsibility. That's not *fair*! ;-)

[identity profile] cjsmith.livejournal.com 2002-04-18 02:06 pm (UTC)(link)
That was my Patented Responsibility-Ducking Pseudologic. Here, have some; I didn't use it up. There's lots more -- it's everywhere! ;-)

A glow-in-the-dark plastic baby Jesus butt plug. *sigh* Whats next? Darth Vader? Rubber hampsters? Whoops...never mind that last one...last time I was in Hawaii, at the airport, they were selling battery operated...er...never mind, I suppose it was just something to make the flight more enjoyable.

*grin*

[identity profile] cjsmith.livejournal.com 2002-04-18 03:10 pm (UTC)(link)
I'm sure I'll remember that next time I'm wedged next to a perfect stranger whose limbs are in my lap for lack of room. The flight just might be quite enjoyable for him because of a last minute purchase at the airport. What an image!

LOL It must be a measure of my own personal weirdness that the thought which popped into my head on seeing these little fuzzy monstrousities was "How the hell would you clean them."

rubber hamsters???!!!

[identity profile] cassidyrose.livejournal.com 2002-04-18 03:14 pm (UTC)(link)
I mean I like rodents and all, but not like that.

I like rodents too, specially in gravy.

Dammit, I already spent my monthly "Gear" allotment on Dermabond and speculums. Argh! But, darn it, theres some goodies there that would go so well in my exam table and doctors bag! (sigh) Oh well, its only money....

[identity profile] cjsmith.livejournal.com 2002-04-19 09:13 am (UTC)(link)
My imagination is working overtime on good ways to use Dermabond AND a speculum in the same scene. :-)

[identity profile] abz6598.livejournal.com 2002-04-19 09:21 am (UTC)(link)
The Dermabond actually can be quite useful. You can apply baubles or weights to parts of the body that arent pierced, enforced chastity, cuffless 'handcuffs', keeping wigs/jewelry/prosthetics in place, etc, etc.

Ooo! Now it displays with the "Thread" stuff! Always wondered how complex something had to get before the comments were threaded by LJ.

Yeah, my two all-time most-commented-upon posts: one about how many people are similar to me and another about butt sex toys. I'm not sure what this says about me or about my friends, but whatever it is I think I like it. :-)

[identity profile] gs.livejournal.com 2002-04-19 02:27 pm (UTC)(link)
Your "Life Is Good" post had a rather high comment count as well (38). I think that's also a good sign :-)
