Fun with office supplies

Purell hand sanitizer will take permanent marker off a whiteboard.
Everclear makes a pretty good antiseptic wipe.

The hand sanitizer is just a touch more alcoholic than Everclear, but Everclear doesn't taste as nasty. I cared because I wanted it for a cut on my lip.

What, you don't work at a place where Everclear is office supplies? ;-)

i'm pretty sure Everclear is the alcohol that can only be had on the AF Base, but is otherwise not available for purchase in my state.

Substituting rubbing alcohol would probably have about the same kick.

(well, ok, that's usually isopropyl alcohol and is poisonous, but hey. Details.)
