51,027. Words just start showing up when I start looking at all the little holes that need spackling. Where did the other sorceress come from and how did she and my main character become friends? That was the hole I found and spackled tonight. And I never DID write the proposal. Wedding, yes; proposal, conspicuously missing. Oopsie.

Well, tough cookies. I'm ready to not see this story for several months. :-)

(Although I must say that watching your process has convinced me to remove doing this from my list of things I want to do sometime when I can. I think I'd get similarly frustrated and I just don't need that.)

I don't know why this one was such a slogfest from approximately day 17 onward. Maybe it's because I've already done three. Maybe it was because I've been through some other, unrelated angst and it drained me. Maybe it's the work busy-ness. Maybe I'm getting old. :)
