Ahhhh, Saturday. I slept in this morning. Mmmmm. My back is improving. Sleep is therapeutic, and the hot shower didn't hurt any.
Half-birthday celebration followed. I received many delectable BOOKS! I do so love books. So I read two I'd already had, to clear room on the "to read" list for these new ones.
Then got myself TurboTax and some heat shrink tubing. Taxes must be done this weekend as I am going to a secret location next weekend with Rob. The heat shrink tubing is to wrap around a spot where I'm going to fix the handle of my clothes hamper. After I glue it back together it'll still be sharp, so the tubing will make it comfy to hold. Must also make reservations for this secret location. Rob will like it, but I won't tell him ahead of time where we're going... thus playing it safe here on LJ.
Tomorrow will do breakfast at the Original Pancake House and maybe play with the shopping cart escalator in the new two-story Target. Then taxes (ugh). Then dinner with
gs and his lovely wife. Must remember to schedule some emotional decompression time between taxes and being social.
Hm, wonder if TurboTax can be configured to do all its instructions in French. My very rusty French is trying to come back to life.

I thought they already were in French. At least I seem to have similar levels of comprehension for the two :-)
Mmmm...dinner with two of my favorite people. Wonderful.

But I have a French-English dictionary. Thus you see my clever plan. I don't have a taxese-English dictionary, so if I could get instructions in French rather than taxese, I'd be winning big. :-)
Actually it hasn't gone badly so far. I did a bit more than half the data entry last night. (I skipped the "update TurboTax" part. heh. such a rebel I am.) Now I just need to gather all the stuff for the schedule C, and I'll be done with Federal.

It was indeed enjoyable! And such yummy food, too! :-) Must do again sometime. When do I get to take you two out to La Fondue?

La Fondue...let's see...I guess we've already missed lunch today :-)
I hope we can go soon. Perhaps later this month, after your secret weekend with Rob.
