Lunch time

Once again, I have apparently managed to create a meal my cats would give their souls to have. I wish someone were here to take a picture of this. Sitting at the white-hot focus of three fur-covered poses of intense covetitude is making me crack up.

(I am sure the key point is that it involves cheese. Oddly, none of the cats will actually eat the tidbits I've offered, though Jackie did spend some time alternating between swatting it and industriously licking her toes. But they're all sure I've got amazingly good stuff here somewhere.)

I have three tortoises that fling themselves into the sides of their cages to indicate their craving for lasagna. When I give them a small portion, they BATHE in the stuff. I'm surprised they don't choke for all that they thrust their heads into the middle of the food.

So I'll believe almost anything about pets and food.
