1. Do clear out the disposal before running the dishwasher, there's a good girl.

2. Not everything containing beef must be cooked in red wine.

Now I'm craving beef bourguignon. Thanks a bunch. ;)

Wanna come over to my house? I have a lovely beef-and-barley stew bourguignon. :-)

Indeed - #2 seems to be a waste of good wine. Substitute beef for more wine in a glass in any recipe :-)

Wait, the beef goes in the glass? I'm confused. I need some more wine.

I'm rather fond of beef containing teriyaki. Or a mix of cumin and red pepper. Or Worcestershire sauce.

MMMMMM Worcestershire sauce! Which is odd, because it contains fish stuff, but so far it hasn't ever made me sick. It's so yummy!

Um ... what happens if you don't clean out the disposal before running the dishwasher?

typically the drain from the washer goes out through the disposal - so if there's stuff in there, it's more likely to reduce the outflow and back up into the sink itself, and if any of the stuff floats, "ick". Running the disposal at least chops everything up so it'll go out the drain with the water...

Yeah, that's what happened to me.
