Productive weekend

Second time on the rower in one week -- I've "graduated" to twice a week. Boy, that seat rips up the skin on my backside.

What to wear to my sister's wedding? Some people may keep a closet full of wedding-appropriate attire, but I'm just a leetle more practical. So I had some sewing to do. Floor-length hide-the-shoes palazzo pants, a simple sleeveless shirt, and a filmy overjacket I already had. Now that the outfit is almost complete, of course, I'm second-guessing everything about it, to the point where I don't want to wear it at all. *sigh* But frankly there's only one person who will come to this event and spend one microsecond of thought on how bad I look, and NOTHING would make her think I looked good, so I should just get over myself and wear the damn thing.

It sounds like an outfit you can wear again and again to formal events, dressing it up with different scarves or jewelry, So it may help to think of this as a beta test. And that means it's close to perfect, right?

Mmm, yes, a beta test! Not bad! That means I have to make only one more of it to be the final product. ;-) I definitely know which parts of the pattern I'd change next time around.
