Second time on the rower in one week -- I've "graduated" to twice a week. Boy, that seat rips up the skin on my backside.

What to wear to my sister's wedding? Some people may keep a closet full of wedding-appropriate attire, but I'm just a leetle more practical. So I had some sewing to do. Floor-length hide-the-shoes palazzo pants, a simple sleeveless shirt, and a filmy overjacket I already had. Now that the outfit is almost complete, of course, I'm second-guessing everything about it, to the point where I don't want to wear it at all. *sigh* But frankly there's only one person who will come to this event and spend one microsecond of thought on how bad I look, and NOTHING would make her think I looked good, so I should just get over myself and wear the damn thing.

Ah, joke her if she can't take a fsck. :-) Wear what you like that also respects your sister's wedding and this other person is the one who should get over herself, IMHO.

Ayep, that's a very California way to look at it. I was raised East Coast aka Nothing Is Ever Good Enough, but y'know, if that's truly the case I should quit worrying, right? :-)

Yes. :-) I'm sure you'll look nice in any case.

I was raised on the east coast but by hippy parents so I'd totally go with what [livejournal.com profile] quasigeostrophy said :)

Two thumbs up to that! :-)
