Second time on the rower in one week -- I've "graduated" to twice a week. Boy, that seat rips up the skin on my backside.

What to wear to my sister's wedding? Some people may keep a closet full of wedding-appropriate attire, but I'm just a leetle more practical. So I had some sewing to do. Floor-length hide-the-shoes palazzo pants, a simple sleeveless shirt, and a filmy overjacket I already had. Now that the outfit is almost complete, of course, I'm second-guessing everything about it, to the point where I don't want to wear it at all. *sigh* But frankly there's only one person who will come to this event and spend one microsecond of thought on how bad I look, and NOTHING would make her think I looked good, so I should just get over myself and wear the damn thing.

As you said, it doesn't really matter what you wear. The outfit is to show respect for your sister, and anything you wear that isn't dirty, smelly and torn demonstrates that respect.

Besides that, the outfit sounds really nice.

Aw, thanks! Right now it's looking awfully darn homemade, but that may change when I give it a good ironing.

I also went out today and grabbed 2.5yds of the green material to make a SKIRT, because with the way that fabric drapes, that may come out looking a whole lot better. (Plus way way way easier... could totally do it in an evening.) Must finish what I have first though. Flared pants become First Backup Plan if I can do the skirt.
