I finally got my sorry butt in gear and brought Little Girl to the vet this morning. Basically she looks healthy as a stoat, so I hadn't been too worried, but I figured when I had a moment to breathe I should do it.
(Heh: moment to breathe. When I made the appointment I didn't know I was soon to get special attention from the Patron Saint of Chaos.)
Little Girl is basically fine, modulo getting some vaccinations and getting her ears swabbed out, but her TEETH! Her teeth are nasty. She needs those cleaned right away. She's in stage 2 or maybe even 3 periodontal disease, going by the beautiful full-color poster in the exam room, and we'll be lucky if there are no extractions. If her blood work shows she's okay for anesthesia, that'll be done as soon as I get back from San Diego.
Poor kitty.
