1. Bier block scheduled for Thursday 2/22, one foot only for comparison purposes. I am soooooooo not looking forward to this. But if it gives me some noticeable relief, and if that noticeable relief lasts more than (? an hour or two? a few days?), I will qualify for a study. I might not get placebo in the study. What they're studying might turn out to have a positive effect.

2. Looking back on it, there is some "cool factor" in being a nifty enough case that not only is there one medical student observing, but when the doctor has it figured out he goes and gets another one.

HAHAHA perfect! I could be the first known case of CJ's Neuritis, a podiatric lateral plantar-aspect peripheral neuritis with sympathetically-induced allodynia. Yeah! That!

Zombies beware. If you eat CJ's brain you could get Mad Caller Disease. Of course, equating me with a cow is probably *not* where I wanted to go with that. :-)
