(OK, I'm updating at work, bad me.) We had fondue for our social hour at work last night, with me as the chef. It went well! People liked it! Yay yay yay.

I'm always inordinately pleased when people like something I made. This fondue recipe is just about the only thing I'll admit to COOKing. Everything else I "throw together", just to make it clear that I Do Not Cook. Anyone eating food of mine needs to know what they're getting into. But the fondue, though, that's good stuff. I'm all happy that people liked it.

Sadly, quite a few folks are out sick lately, so it turns out I have LOTS of leftover cheese to use up. Maybe I'll have to declare next Wednesday "use up the cheese day" and do the whole thing again.

I find that fondue can be warmed up and served on tortellini or ravioli.

Ohhh yes. Leftover fondue can be eaten in lots of delicious ways. (Sadly, what I have now is leftover cheese, but if I get off my butt I can turn it into leftover fondue before it turns green.)

if it is grated, I just toss it in the freezer.

Yep. I need to grate about four pounds yet!

I think you need to buy big freezer bags.

*nod* Gallon-size works for a pound, grated. That'll do! :-)
