I just went to get my blood drawn this morning and I didn't have to lie down and un-woozify myself! I just got up, walked to my car, and drove away! Not that the whole thing was pleasant, of course, but it was a whole lot better than what used to happen.

Oh, you visited the nice blood stealers too today? Glad the visit was better than usual! And btw, I forgot to post it back on your foot post, but your new doctor sounds fabulous. I'm glad things are going well there.

Yep, I got vampirized! You too? (And thanks!)

Yep! CBC to see how my iron levels are after three months on the meds.

Fingers crossed! I'm glad you could get that looked at; seems like it was getting to be a real problem.

Yeah. Made worse by going undetected for so long because one doctor was an idiot, and he'd told me it'd been checked, so the new doctor didn't. And of course, records went astray in the meantime. (I am nowhere NEAR so organized as you!)

Gah. Sigh. I'm glad it's finally getting sorted out.

Oh man, I'm not organized at all! Rob and I are just now getting around to fetching all my records from my previous two podiatrists. The only history I had was on LJ. :-)

Even LJ's better than me. My old doctor never sent my records to the new one. And getting my OB/GYN and Endocrinologist to switch over have been interesting. PLUS apparently my Endocrine did fax things and the new office lost them. Bleh. It's like my records see random black holes and leap into them, I swear.

That's got to be really frustrating. I should go straighten out vet records, now that I think of it. My old vet sent full records on Duchess and I don't think my new vet ever saw hide nor hair of 'em. *sigh*

Wow, that rocks! Niiiiice!

With Duchess' improvement, and your lessened needle sensitivity, there have definitely been some fine positive developments! So cool!

Yeah, it's odd how I'm counting my blessings from something like having my cat have diabetes. Many things really DO have silver linings.
Friday, October 13th, 2006 05:15 pm (UTC)
Hey, that's fabulous! Maybe I can borrow your cat for a while.
Friday, October 13th, 2006 05:18 pm (UTC)
*chuckle* I'm sure she wouldn't mind. She likes you a lot!

And vice versa. Sweet kitty.
Friday, October 13th, 2006 09:09 pm (UTC)
Oh, she's just a love. The vet staff where she'd been going for her glucose curves kept saying how good she was in the face of all that annoyance.

YAY! Congrats!

Thanks! It's definitely a relief for me.
