It must have been Duchess horking last night, because while I was out at dinner Little Girl threw up in the pile of cat toys and just now Jackie let loose all over a brand-new jigsaw puzzle. While I ran to clean that, Jackie also got the hallway in two places and the carpet once. (This leaves about eight more to go for her normal pattern. Most of those will be small.)

I am officially tired of this.

Um, this should go without saying, but please don't give advice unless you know my cats or their environment. If you do, though, I'm listening.

BWAHA! I do this with Jackie when she's in one of her rounds of a dozen. (She runs away from herself, though, so it's just as entertaining without me.) As soon as she backs herself into a room with linoleum I shut her in there until she's done.

It is rather unfortunate that the stuff is carpet-colored, isn't it? Maybe I need bright blue carpets.

Yeah except then it never goes away! Cat barf is the worst stains ever.

Little kitty prezzies!

It's really strange, but I've noticed that only some pukes seem to stain. I don't know why. Here's my theory:

- Light colored carpets: Puke with food in it will stain because the dyes used in the food are tenacious. Puke with only hairball or only bile won't be a problem.
- Dark colored carpets: Too much acid will affect the dye in the carpet. Even the only-bile pukes don't always do this; I have exactly one stain of this type on my living room carpet after six years of these pukemonsters. The spot is lighter.
- Cat-puke-colored carpets: Same as a dark carpet, except when a stain you know is there goes away don't put your foot in it.

Speaking of color, what do you think of this BMW interior? Ummm.

That's cat barf colored!

My sister's cat eats Purina One stuff and when Sheckie pukes it is neon yellow. Gross!

Maybe if he learned to chew... :)

I had a buddy who was buying a 328i once and he had to choose between that color interior and gray. They had that color on the lot. He asked my opinion, I said "cat puke", and he decided that image was just too much and he'd wait for a gray one to come in!
