how much time DO you spend surfing?

Dangerous question. It's 2:30am so I'll go to bed with a nice 1500 pages on OOP with DBC and JML

I am not entirely sure I want to know how much time I spend surfing!

Your reading material might give you a good sound sleep. :-)

As you said: I don't want to know how much time I spend surfing.

If there was an extension that significantly underreported the time I spent surfing, I might be interested in that. Maybe Diebold has something.

I have a similar hack I wrote years ago... for emacs, where I spend far more time than I do in firefox :-) I don't pay much attention to it any more (the bulk-reporting features have atrophied, certainly) though the "time spent in this buffer" in the modeline is sometimes interesting; I wrote it at a time when I was getting a lot more distracted than I am now...
