I was going to say 'scorpions are peaceful now?' but then I realized it's actualy a waterfowl reflected in the watter.

It really looks like a funny-tailed scorpion at first glance, though.

*chuckle* It's the Goose Scorpion! 8-) (Or maybe the Duck Scorpion. Hard to tell.) Very rare. Endangered. Its honk is worse than its sting.

Hehe ... I never thought of that! It's a detail from a picture I took two years ago. If you look at the complete photo (http://flyaway.smugmug.com/gallery/93730/1/3293871) (and the others taken at the same time) you won't see a scorpion any more, just a Canada goose silhouetted in the light of the setting sun. :-)
