House In Order, day 23
I'm experimenting with doing "chores" in the morning, rather than in the evening. This is so that when I get home tired from work I can have some real down time instead of slowly-muster-energy-for-another-obligation time.
- Finished/put away the laundry
- Started a load of dishes
- Completed first set of mods to the Boulder Holder (with scissors and wire cutters and a metal file: shrink the "wires" on the armpit side)
Off to an appointment and then to work, yee ha.

Mostly I think it's because
I find myself enjoying the sunshine and the puttering while drinking my coffee.

You wouldn't believe -- wait, you probably would -- how much force is required to cut underwires. They are, of course, not wires. They're way sturdier than wires. Sheesh!

i've never cut underwires down, but i've sure wanted to. can't tell you how many i've cursed to hell and back. then there's the ones that pop out of the fabric and go for a joyride under my clothing.
one side benefit of losing weight is that my bras are fitting better. tell ya' what: i'll share some of my girth, if you spot me some bulk. deal? especially if it's detachable. i've got a couple tops that i just don't fill out properly.

Yeah, cutting underwires down is apparently a must for me now. If you have big enough, um, boulders, then supporting them adequately means raising them up to the point where their tops are higher than the armpit. Of course this means an underwire will poke. It can't help it. That's how big the boulder is and the wire doesn't have anywhere else to go.
I've never had one pop out of the fabric. Wow. That'd be annoying in more ways than one!
What an excellent trade that would be! I don't even have THAT MUCH bulk, objectively speaking. But on this ribcage it is supposedly inhumanly big. I would be happy to give you half! I'd probably be down to a C cup and LOVING it, and whatever it made you might work for those tops!

Yes, after work, the first thing I want to do is collapse. Even on Mondays and Thursdays when I have to immediately get into square dance and C/W Billivanilli mode.

Before this head-first dive into school, I was right there with you, though - even not working full-time, it was a drag to get anything done that had to be done. Now, while I still hate washing dishes and such, getting stuff done is progress.
Maybe the trick for me is just to keep "moving".
