Finished the physical stuff for my car voltmeter. Electrical connections later.

For at least a year, every time I've walked into my office I've seen the parts for that thing and felt guilty. Guess I should have stored it out of sight.

if you're anything like me, storing something out of sight means it won't EVER get done.

glad to hear of your accomplisments. sometimes the little ones are as big as (or bigger than!) the little ones. you're inspiring me to keep on with my own get-my-act-together.

Yes, there is that. Deciding what to do with an ancient unfinished project isn't easy. This one showed every sign of never getting done AND it was nagging me whenever I walked into the room, so maybe storing it out of sight would have been an improvement!

My enormous breakthrough was that I could use a cardboard box to hold everything together. I'd been trying to build something out of scrap wood, which is hard for a variety of stupid logistical reasons. (F'rex, the saw is stored on a shelf that's unreachable when my car is in the garage -- thus it's unreachable any time I'm home. No surprise I never made much progress with wood.) It still took a while to carve out all the holes I needed in the cardboard, but at least that part is DONE.
