Woke up at 2:30am Pacific time. (Yes, I am by now mildly cranky; why do you ask?) Shoveled the driveway, tested the car's braking action (moderate to poor), made it to our flight. Wx not as bad as predicted (hosanna!).

My father was leaving for Boston Logan at nearly the same time we were. He had a business meeting in Washington. He got back to his house before we got to ours. :-)

House musty and cold, of course. Kitties happy to see me the food scoop. CJ happy to see the furnace functional after two weeks of disuse.

I'm now grimly determined to stay awake until ten. There's less than an hour to go.

hope your jet lag is slightly better today. :)

I should have emailed you, but I think you said your email is set to reject all gmail addresses? So I can't. :( So in answer to your question of elsewhere: yummy wine, please! And thank you!

Darn - you're right, it would have been eaten. That's a sad artifact of my lack of ability with regular expressions. My spam-eater eats anything from ANY domain with the word "mail" in it. Saves me loads of time per day, but sadly it eats gmail. I could make another rule explicitly permitting "gmail", which as a permit rule would override all block rules, but when I tried that it let in a big bunch of crud. I need to fail to block gmail rather than permitting it... mumble grumble.

Ahem. Where was I? OK, I just went to your userinfo page, saw your gmail address, and explicitly permitted THAT. Now you can gmail email me with impunity!

Yummy wine coming right up!
