Square dance weekend

In just a few minutes I'll get picked up to head north for a square dance weekend. No net access, probably no or spotty cellphone. My driver and wonderful helper rfrench reports all cats accounted for in the house.

At the beginning of the month I'd been hoping I would be dancing again by this time. No such luck -- although my feet might do okay for a bit if I weren't in these danged shoes! Ah well. I'm certainly okay enough to call, and for that I'm very glad I got moved up to August 4 instead of August 18. And it's fun just to hang out with these people.

YAY NO WORK THIS WEEKEND. 'Cause I just plain can't -- no net access. YAY.

I did, thanks! I even danced a teeny tiny bit -- not much, as these shoes make my heels tired quickly, but it was good to get a taste.

Yay for even a little bit! I'm hoping to go back to contra dance next Tuesday evening. Feeling better this week, but don't want to push it (especially as tired as lawn mowing and running errands made me today) - one more week. :-)

Thank you! I *love* going to these dances, as a caller or as a dancer. I'm glad I can call. In fact, this weekend has given me a new urge to improve certain aspects of my calling. Yay!

I even danced a teensy bit! That was way cool. Maybe once I get out of these danged shoes I can get back into dancing... I hopehopehope.
