Amazing how rapidly things change from one day to the next. Saturday, balance greatly improved. Sunday, off crutches completely; went to Shakespeare in the Park with the walker (needed it! LONG walk!). Monday, at the office. I think I actually slept nearly enough last night, too.

I'm pretty pleased that I got back to work so quickly. Yay for the body's ability to heal!

Wow. Is the pain any better? When do you see the doctor again?

The pain is really minimal. The only time it bugged me a lot was Thursday night, and I suspect that it has faded *and* I've gotten more accustomed to what it feels like (to reassure myself it's okay). I'm very lucky with the pain, I think.

I see the doc again Wednesday morning. I wonder whether I should bring the walker, to try to reassure her I'm not trying to overdo, or just give it up and show her how much I've improved.

Glad to hear you're doing so much better. Hope the work thing went OK. The first day back was pretty emotionally overwhelming for me, after sitting on my butt for a week.

The work thing is going fine, except that I'm distractable -- I suspect my main problem is sleep. It's darned awkward to sleep with my feet elevated and little booties (or protective shoes) on. The cats are also more likely to wake me up because I'm sleeping in a place they can get to. So I'm perennially exhausted. How is your energy level? Are you sleeping OK? Spending lots of energy healing up?
